Assistant SENCo - September 2026 (or later)We are seeking an outstanding Assistant SENCo to join a thriving Manchester Secondary School.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the outcomes of young people and work alongside an experienced team of SEND professionals.

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, a permanent contract from the start may be considered.

Assistant SENCo - requirements Ideally you will be:· Experienced in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.· Knowledgeable about SEND provision, with a clear understanding of inclusive teaching and learning strategies· Experienced in SEND Admin - such as submitting applications and writing plans.

  • Able to work effectively with staff, students, parents and external agencies.· A positive role model, demonstrating patience, empathy and professionalism.· Enthusiastic about contributing to the wider life of the school.· Keen to play a key role in identifying needs, coordinating interventions and supporting students who require additional help.
