Aspire People are recruiting for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEMH needs in a school located in Spilsby, Lincolnshire. This role is full‑time on a temp‑to‑perm basis starting immediately. Working hours are 08:30–15:30. You will work 1:1 with students who have various learning difficulties and special educational needs.
Responsibilities
- Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
- Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
- Create a safe learning environment for pupils
- De‑escalate behaviour that challenges through the forming of trusting relationships
Qualifications
- Recent or relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND/SEMH.
- Passion for education.
- High level of resilience and energetic approach.
- Experience working with children with social emotional and mental health needs.
- Commitment to Safeguarding
