I've got a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is ready to do just that!
I'm currently recruiting for a lovely mainstream primary school in Rochdale who are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and reliable Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.
This is a maternity cover position running until July 2027, offering the opportunity to really get to know your pupils, build strong relationships and play an important part in their progress throughout the academic year.
The Role:
Location: Rochdale
Duration: Until July 2027
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday
Setting: Mainstream Primary School, Year 2
You'll be working alongside the class teacher to support teaching and learning across Year 2.
There are also children with additional SEND needs within the classroom who may require extra support, so being adaptable, patient and confident in meeting different learning needs is important.

- Someone who is genuinely passionate about helping children achieve their potential.
- A resilient, positive and adaptable individual who isn't afraid of a challenge.
- Someone reliable, committed and ready to become a valued member of the school team.
- A Teaching Assistant who can confidently support pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs.
To be considered, you must
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate suitable for working with children, or be willing to apply for one.
- Be able to provide references covering the last 2 years.
