Aspire People are looking for a confident Maths and Science Teacher to teach across KS3 in Newport. This is an immediate opportunity for a teacher with strong subject knowledge who can deliver engaging lessons and manage the classroom effectively.

The Role

- Teach engaging KS3 Maths and Science lessons
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet different learning needs
- Establish clear expectations and maintain strong behaviour management
- Assess and monitor pupil progress
- Build positive relationships with pupils
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

Requirements

- QTS or recognised teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths and Science
- Experience teaching or supporting KS3 learners
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to adapt teaching to different abilities
- Strong communication and organisation
- EWC registration or willingness to register
- Enhanced DBS for Children on the DBS Update Service
