Aspire People are currently looking for Sports Coaches, Sports Graduates and experienced children's coaches to support primary schools across Manchester. Schools are now back, and we're looking for people who can use their existing experience working with children to support pupils both inside and outside the classroom. Whether you've worked in grassroots sport, school sports, holiday camps, community coaching or children's activity programmes, your ability to engage, motivate and manage groups of children can transfer extremely well into a school environment.
The Role Could Include:
- Supporting pupils within the classroom
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support
- Assisting with learning activities
- Supporting PE and physical activity
- Delivering or assisting with sports sessions
- Supporting pupils during break and lunchtime
- Encouraging teamwork, confidence and positive behaviour
- Supporting children with SEND where required
- Helping pupils develop social and communication skills
- Supporting extracurricular activities
We're Looking For:
- Sports-related degree, qualification or relevant coaching experience
- Experience coaching or working with children
- Confident communication skills
- Positive and energetic approach
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils
- Patient and adaptable approach
- Genuine interest in working within education
Previous experience within a UK school, youth setting or children's sports environment would be advantageous.
