Aspire People are recruiting Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Manchester and the surrounding areas. We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants who hold a relevant Level 3 qualification and have more than 6 months of UK-based experience working within a school.

The Role:

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils
  • Supporting pupils with SEND, learning difficulties, and additional needs
  • Assisting with planning and delivering learning activities
  • Supporting phonics, Maths, English, and curriculum-based interventions
  • Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and resilience
  • Supporting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff
  • Monitoring and recording pupil progress
  • Supporting classroom routines and maintaining an inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification
  • Has more than 6 months of UK-based experience working within a school
  • Has experience supporting pupils across the primary age range
  • Has a strong understanding of classroom support and pupil development
  • Is confident supporting pupils with SEND
  • Has excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
  • Is patient, adaptable, and committed to helping pupils succeed
