Aspire People are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Central Manchester on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to build experience within a welcoming and supportive English department.
The Role
- Full-time, 5 days per week
- Immediate start ASAP
- Initially until Christmas, with the possibility of an extension for the right candidate
- Teaching English across KS3 & KS4
- Join a friendly and supportive English department
- Full teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking
Requirements
- QTS is essential
- ECTs are welcome to apply
- Strong subject knowledge in English
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Must be able to commit to 5 days per week until Christmas
- A DBS on the Update Service is desirable for a quicker clearance process
- References covering your last 2 years of employment/education will be required
