Aspire People are recruiting graduates and recent students with backgrounds in Child Psychology, Child Development, SEND, Education, Counselling and related subjects to work within primary schools across Manchester and the surrounding areas. If you have recently completed, or are coming towards the end of, a relevant degree and are looking to gain practical experience working with children, this could be an excellent opportunity to put your knowledge into practice.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
  • Assisting children with their learning and development
  • Supporting pupils who may have additional learning or emotional needs
  • Helping children develop confidence, communication and independence
  • Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines
  • Building positive relationships with pupils and helping them feel comfortable in school
  • Working alongside teachers and support staff to understand individual pupil needs
  • Gaining valuable hands-on experience within a school environment
