Aspire People is recruiting compassionate and dedicated **SEND Teaching Assistants** to support children with complex learning, physical and communication needs in specialist settings across **South Liverpool**.

This is an excellent opportunity to join welcoming and supportive schools where you'll help children with a range of additional needs, including **Autism (ASC), ADHD and SEMH**, enabling them to access learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential. ### The Role As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support for children with complex learning and physical needs, working closely with teachers and other professionals to create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to help pupils access learning.
  • Supporting pupils with personal care, including toileting and changing where required.
  • Assisting with mobility needs, including wheelchair transfers and hoisting.
  • Delivering sensory and communication-based activities tailored to individual needs.
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals to support each child's learning and wellbeing.
  • Building positive relationships that encourage confidence, independence and engagement. ### Who We're Looking For We welcome applications from candidates with experience in care, education or support work who have a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
