Aspire People is recruiting compassionate and dedicated **SEND Teaching Assistants** to support children with complex learning, physical and communication needs in specialist settings across **South Liverpool**.
This is an excellent opportunity to join welcoming and supportive schools where you'll help children with a range of additional needs, including **Autism (ASC), ADHD and SEMH**, enabling them to access learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential. ### The Role As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support for children with complex learning and physical needs, working closely with teachers and other professionals to create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to help pupils access learning.
- Supporting pupils with personal care, including toileting and changing where required.
- Assisting with mobility needs, including wheelchair transfers and hoisting.
- Delivering sensory and communication-based activities tailored to individual needs.
- Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals to support each child's learning and wellbeing.
