The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of your pupils.
- Foster a positive, nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support children with a range of additional needs.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and wider school teams.
- Monitor pupil progress and celebrate every achievement, helping children build confidence and independence.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage a lifelong love of learning.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
- Previous experience supporting children with SEND in either mainstream or specialist settings.
- A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to provide two years of professional references.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
