We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established school for a creative, enthusiastic and dedicated Art Teacher to join its dynamic teaching team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who can inspire students, encourage creativity and develop artistic skills through engaging and stimulating lessons.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver creative, engaging Art and Design lessons across relevant Key Stages.
* Teach a range of artistic techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media.
* Encourage students to explore their creativity and develop their artistic abilities.
* Assess, monitor and provide constructive feedback on students' progress.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Maintain excellent classroom management and promote positive behaviour.
* Contribute to curriculum development, exhibitions and extracurricular art activities.
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching Art and Design at secondary school level.
* Strong subject knowledge and practical artistic skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students of different abilities.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* A genuine passion for creativity and education.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
