Aspire People are looking for a confident KS3 Teacher with strong Maths and Science knowledge for an immediate opportunity across Cardiff and Newport.

The Role

- Deliver engaging KS3 lessons across Maths and Science
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet different learning needs
- Maintain positive behaviour and clear classroom expectations
- Assess and monitor pupil progress
- Build positive relationships with pupils
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

Requirements

- QTS or recognised teaching qualification
- Strong Maths and Science subject knowledge
- Experience teaching or supporting KS3 learners
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to adapt teaching to different abilities
- Strong communication and organisation
- EWC registration or willingness to register
- Enhanced DBS for Children on the DBS Update Service
- Ability and willingness to travel between Cardiff and Newport
