Level 3 Phonics Teaching Assistant - B8 Area

Hours: Full-Time, 5 Days Per Week

We are currently recruiting for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the B8 area. This role will have a strong focus on supporting children with phonics, early reading, and literacy development across EYFS and Key Stage 1.
The Role:
Deliver phonics interventions and small group support using the school's phonics scheme.
Support pupils in developing early reading, writing, and communication skills.
Work closely with class teachers to plan and deliver engaging learning activities.
Provide targeted support for children who need additional help with phonics and literacy.
Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Requirements:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Previous experience supporting phonics in a primary school setting
Good understanding of early literacy and reading development
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passionate about helping children achieve their full potential
