As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care, education, and support to children aged 0-5 years. You will work as part of a dedicated team to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop, and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the learning, development, and wellbeing of children aged 0-5 in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Create a safe, welcoming, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children feel secure and encouraged to learn.
- Plan and participate in engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Recognise and support children's individual needs, interests, abilities, and stages of development.
- Encourage children to develop their confidence, independence, communication, and social skills.
- Assist with planning and implementing activities that support children's learning and development.
- Build positive and professional relationships with children, colleagues, parents, and carers.
What We Are Looking For
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification (essential).
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, patient, and positive approach.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
