We are currently recruiting enthusiastic, reliable and caring Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary, secondary and SEN schools in the London Borough of Barnet. Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant, a recent graduate, or looking to begin a rewarding career in education, we would love to hear from you.
The Roles
- Primary Schools - supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
- Secondary Schools - supporting students across KS3 and KS4, including classroom and individual support.
- SEN Schools & Specialist Provision - supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation.
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils.
- Help pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally.
- Support children with additional learning needs and SEN.
- Encourage positive behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with classroom organisation and day-to-day activities.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, teachers and parents/carers where appropriate.
- Adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of pupils.

- Experienced in education, childcare, youth work or SEN (desirable but not essential).
