Aspire People are recruiting a dedicated ALN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Rhondda Cynon Taf. This is a full-time, long-term position supporting pupils within the Year 1/2 phase, starting ASAP and continuing for the full academic year.

- Opportunity to make a genuine difference to pupils with ALN About the Role As an ALN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with Individual Development Plans (IDPs) both within the classroom and through targeted intervention work. Responsibilities will include:
- Providing in-class support for pupils with ALN and additional behavioural needs
- Working closely with the ALN department, class teacher and wider support staff
- Delivering structured interventions, including Bucket Time and Sensory Circuits
- Supporting pupils to regulate emotions, develop social skills and access learning successfully
- Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils build confidence and independence
- Monitoring progress xgikmsk and adapting support strategies to meet individual needs
- Providing consistent and reliable support to ensure stability for learners throughout the academic year The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience supporting children with ALN/SEN in a primary school setting
- Knowledge of interventions such as Bucket Time, Sensory Circuits, or similar therapeutic approaches
- Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
- A patient, nurturing and proactive approach
- Excellent reliability, attend
