1:1 Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant North Manchester | Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity | Aspire People Aspire People are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant / Behaviour Support Mentor to support two Year 6 pupils at one of our partnered schools in North Manchester. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, with the successful candidate providing 1:1 support to both pupils throughout the school day. The day will be split between the two pupils, who have different support needs and benefit from a consistent, patient, and relationship-led approach. The Role You will support pupils to: * Manage and regulate their emotions * Remain settled and engaged in the classroom * Access learning and overcome barriers to education * Develop positive relationships with staff and peers * Follow routines, boundaries, and expectations * Build confidence, independence, and resilience * Respond positively to support and intervention strategies You will work closely with class teachers and the wider school team to provide consistent support and adapt your approach to each pupil's individual needs.
