Locations and Hours

We are currently recruiting for a part-time weekend Support Worker to cover the Rotherham area. We offer flexible working options with shifts between 8am and 8:30pm. Start dates available from 9th June 2026. Although this is a weekend role, you will be required to attend induction and training during the week, and meetings as required. We will provide as much notice as possible to allow you to make necessary arrangements.

Job Summary

Your main responsibility will be to support individuals in their own homes or in the community. This may involve providing respite care for family carers or supporting clients to develop life skills and increase social inclusion.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Encouraging social inclusion and identifying meaningful activities
  • Supporting access to employment or education
  • Maintaining accurate and factual daily records
  • Promoting dignity, privacy, and independence
  • Supporting daily tasks such as budgeting, cleaning, and cooking
  • Providing personal care where needed
  • Supporting with the administration of medication

Please note: You may be required to travel to other locations we support, as needed.

Requirements:

  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Weekend availability
