Job Description: This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and motivated experienced Pharmacist. My Client is seeking to recruit a Responsible Pharmacist who is enthusiastic, highly motivated, dynamic and above all passionate about making a difference in the community. A passionate individual who is willing to help us grow the business, promote services and support the role of our pharmacy community. The role would be best suited to an individual who is clinically astute, has excellent communication skills and also understands the business needs of community pharmacy in the current NHS climate.
The post holder should be accredited or willing to undergo accreditation to offer the seasonal flu vaccination service, NMS, pharmacy first, and travel health services. Further training will be provided for other services and there is an expectation for these to be agreed and completed.
Community Pharmacy is an evolving industry with new and exciting challenges. The successful candidate should have thorough knowledge of the changing requirements and be dynamic and enthusiastic enough to take up new challenges and bring experience and innovation to the business. You will have a passion for keeping up to date with your own learning and development and be available to attend any training or meetings that are relevant to the business.

Salary: £58K IRO
Schedule: 8.5-hours per day
Mon to Fri (Inc weekends +/-)

We expect all pharmacist duties towards staff and the pharmacy to be carried out 100%, including development of services, interaction with other healthcare professionals, training, and education of the pharmacy team. The successful candidate must have a sound knowledge of IT and be able to use it to help promote and grow the business.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Working in partnership with the healthcare team using your own intuition, expertise, and experience to deliver complete care solutions for our customers and patients.
- Setting the standard of what a brilliant pharmacy ‘looks and feels like’ from an operational perspective by working in partnership with your pharmacy technician.
- Delivering the pharmacy strategy through care conversations with customers and patients providing expert advice throughout
- Accountable for professional pharmacy legal & ethical decisions in the pharmacy
- Actively supporting the development, education & training of colleagues; building pharmacy capability of store teams
- Conducting regular reviews, audits, and risk assessments to protect patient and public safety.
- Work to deliver world class professional services – personally and through the pharmacy team.
