We’re looking for a Casual Customer Service Advisor to join our welcoming team at Aspire Leisure Centre. This is a flexible role, ideal for someone looking for casual work that fits around other commitments while making a real difference as part of a charity that supports people with spinal cord injuries.

As the face of Aspire Leisure Centre, you’ll be the first point of contact for our members and visitors. You’ll provide a warm welcome, answer enquiries, manage bookings, process payments, support membership sales, and help ensure every customer enjoys a positive experience.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Welcoming members and visitors to the centre
  • Handling telephone, email and face‑to‑face enquiries
  • Managing bookings and membership administration
  • Processing payments and daily transactions accurately
  • Supporting membership promotions and sales
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and professional reception environment
  • Working closely with colleagues across the leisure centre to deliver excellent customer service

What we’re looking for:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, proactive and reliable approach
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • The ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
  • Previous experience in a reception, customer service or leisure environment would be an advantage, but most importantly we’re looking for someone with a friendly attitude and a genuine desire to help people.

Shift Availability:

  • Weekday late shifts: 12:00pm – 8:30pm
  • Occasional weekday early shifts: 7:00am – 3:30pm (annual leave cover)
  • Weekend shifts: Saturday 7:00am – 3:30pm and Sunday 7:00am – 2:45pm (annual leave cover)
