Aspire's Welfare Benefits programme is a telephone-based service supporting over 400 clients a year, providing specialist advice and ensuring they are receiving all the benefits that they are entitled to.
We're looking for someone to join our busy team to provide administrative support and ensure our service is running efficiently. As the first point of contact for those seeking our help, you'll be an excellent communicator, skilled in drawing out key information and confident in using that to prioritise cases. Excellent administration and computer skills are a must. This is a busy role where you'll be speaking with clients every day and getting to see the difference that you are making. Full training will be given so you don't need previous benefits experience as long as you have a desire to learn.
This is a hybrid role, and the frequency of visits to Aspire's offices is negotiable. Expectation is, during the initial training period, for two or three days in the office a week. Once established, this can drop to as little as once a month in the office for the right candidate.
There are many great reasons to join Aspire, including generous holiday allowance starting with 27 days in addition to UK bank holidays, flexible working options, Employee Assistance Programme and trained Mental Health First Aiders. As well as a vibrant culture committed to equality and being fully inclusive.
To apply, please send your CV and a cover letter explaining how you meet the requirements of the job. Please note, since communication skills are vital in this role we will not accept AI-generated letters. Please note, we will be reviewing applicants as and when they come in.
