Salary: £25,000 - £28,500 dependent on experience
Hours: Office based, Monday-Thursday 9am-5.30pm and Friday 9am-5pm (some flexibility is available)

Aspire Jobs are delighted to be working in partnership with our professional services client who are a well-established and growing firm based in Lyme Regis, who are seeking to recruit a Legal Secretary to join their busy team. This is a perfect time to join a growing and progressive thinking team and firm.
The successful Legal Secretary will provide support to fee earners and partners who are focused on providing a very high-quality legal service to their clients. The role would suit someone with experience of working as a Legal Secretary, and if you have experience of working within Private Client, this would be beneficial.
The successful candidate will be IT literate, will be able to manage a varied workload to include secretarial assistance, answering calls, filing, typing (inc audio), document production, file and diary management and general office administration. Although having a legal secretarial background is ideal, our client will consider good all-round administrators or strong secretaries who are willing to learn and work within legal as well as provide comprehensive administrative support.
Key requirements for the role are:
- Experience of liaising with clients, on the phone and on email.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well as part of a team to meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- An excellent understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience using modern document management systems.
- Good typing skills - audio typing skills also would be highly regarded.
- Experience working as a Legal Secretary - if you have Private Client experience, this would be highly beneficial.
Professionalism, great communication and strong Legal Secretary, Secretarial/PA or strong administration skills and experience are essential. You will be given full training and have a willingness to learn.
