Hours: 8.00am-16.30pm Monday to Friday, including 1 hour for lunch

Working with our Client who is a well-established global distributor, we are now looking for a Warehouse Operative to work within their packing department on a permanent, full-time basis. TO BE A CONSIDERATION FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DRIVE AND HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORT OR LIVE WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE.
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative:
- Picking of stock with a high level of accuracy
- Inspection of customer orders to ensure “Right first time”
- Packing of customer orders to strict cut off times
- Releasing of orders to couriers
- Undertake cycle counts and stock takes as required
- Maintain the safe handling, storage, and identification of goods in accordance with relevant procedures
- Follow standard work instructions and maintain company procedures and follow all HS&E regulations
- Any other Stores duties as requested by the Supervisor/line Manager
Requirements of the Warehouse Operative:
- Be able to work the hours stated
- Be physically fit – a lot of manual handling, standing for a long period of time and walking involved
- Have excellent timekeeping and be reliable
- Be computer literate
- Be able to multitask
- Be numerate
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be flexible to suit the business needs
- Be a strong team player
- Be highly organised with the ability to meet deadlines when under pressure
