Aspire Jobs are working with a long standing and reputable brokerage that has been serving clients for over twenty years based in New Milton. They are seeking to recruit an ambitious and hungry Mortgage Advisor to work with a wide variety of clients, from first time buyers through to established business owners seeking commercial finance solutions. This role offers great earning potential and flexibility with home-based working (after training) and the chance to develop across both residential and commercial lending. They are FCA regulated and offer whole of market deals to their customers. This means you have more lending options open to you as a broker. They are a tight knit team who are very supportive and friendly.
You will be responsible for guiding clients through important funding decisions, helping them secure the right borrowing for their personal or business goals. The successful Mortgage Advisor will be joining a supportive business which encourages continuous personal development. In addition to your portfolio of clients, you will also benefit from receiving warm leads each month, enabling you to build a strong and sustainable pipeline. The role is self-employed with administrative support and offers significant earning potential for a motivated Mortgage Advisor.
The successful Mortgage Advisor will have:
- CeMAP qualification, 1, 2 & 3 is essential
- Minimum 2-3 yearsβ experience within a similar role
- Ability to work on a self-employed basis and attend the New Milton office once per week is essential
- Must have own transport and be able to drive
- Drive and hungry to generate sales
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build good working relationships
- Ideally, their own portfolio of clients
- Strong experience of handling commercial or more complex cases is desirable
- Have a driving licence and own vehicle
Key responsibilities of the Mortgage Advisor:
- To proactively generate new business
- To support and guide clients through the mortgage process
- To liaise with mortgage lenders, solicitors and valuers
- To encourage long term relationships with clients that increase additional lending or re-mortgaging opportunities
