Job Summary

Location: Fordingbridge

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week Monday – Friday, 8am-4.30pm, 1 hour lunch break office based

Aspire Jobs are working exclusively with our client, who are a well-established global business, who are now looking for an additional member to join their team as a Purchasing Executive.

The Purchasing Executive is responsible for creating and placing purchase orders for the business. This position is a full-time post and is office based.

The successful Purchasing Executive will have:-

  • A strong background within a purchasing capacity
  • IT literate with proficiency in MS Office and purchasing systems
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise own workload and meet strict timelines
  • Team player
  • Able to work independently

Job Description

Key Responsibilities of the Purchasing Executive:

  • Create and place purchase orders
  • Maintain and update vendor approvals
  • Negotiate with suppliers
  • Maintain stock levels
  • Effective proactive liaison with other departments to meet sales and contract demands
  • Freight imports, exports and invoice approval prior to payment
