Location: Ringwood

Salary: £26K - £28K dependent upon experience

Hours: 08:30-17:00, Mon-Fri, 30 mins lunch break, Office based

Our client is seeking candidates with strong administrative skills, who enjoy working in a fast-paced office environment, are exceptional in maintaining accurate records and providing first-class support. This is a new role where you will support the Purchasing team in various tasks related to procurement and supplier management. You must be able to hit the ground running with a can-do attitude.

Requirements of the Purchasing Administrator:

  • Must possess strong office administration experience
  • Purchasing and buying experience would be beneficial but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Be proficient with MS Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Must be able to hit the ground running
  • Confident communicator with the ability to speak to suppliers and internal colleagues
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Be able to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to remain calm within a fast-paced working environment

Responsibilities of the Purchasing Administrator:

  • Raise and process purchase orders in line with delivery schedules
  • Maintain accurate supplier, product information and pricing information
  • Maintain Purchase Order due dates and back orders
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding deliveries, shortages and discrepancies
  • Deal with invoice queries
  • Liaise with the warehouse and review stock levels to ensure continuous supply
