This is a new role where you will support the Purchasing team in various tasks related to procurement and supplier management. You must be able to hit the ground running with a can-do attitude.
Requirements of the Purchasing Administrator:
- Must possess strong office administration experience
- Purchasing and buying experience would be beneficial but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Be proficient with MS Office applications, particularly Excel
- Must be able to hit the ground running
- Confident communicator with the ability to speak to suppliers and internal colleagues
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to multitask
- Be able to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to remain calm within a fast-paced working environment
Responsibilities of the Purchasing Administrator:
- Raise and process purchase orders in line with delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate supplier, product information and pricing information
- Maintain Purchase Order due dates and back orders
- Liaise with suppliers regarding deliveries, shortages and discrepancies
- Deal with invoice queries
- Liaise with the warehouse and review stock levels to ensure continuous supply
