As part of a growing group, our client is looking for an experienced Property Portfolio Manager to join their busy property team based in Ringwood.
The successful Property Portfolio Manager will have previous account handling experience from within property insurance. The role will involve managing accounts that deal with insurance for blocks of flats, residential property lets, and commercial property lets. You will work 2 days a week in the office (Monday & Tuesday) and the rest of the time will be spent working from home after the training/probationary period. The role may occasionally include visits to different offices and clients.
They pride themselves on their high levels of customer service, and part of this role will be about maintaining and exceeding these standards in line with company policy.
The role will involve:
- Developing and maintaining a portfolio of clients that encourages long-term relationships, encompassing new business, renewals, and adjustments through client contact and the preparation of presentations.
SALES
- Realising individual sales targets through the achievement of new business and renewal figures.
- Self-monitoring individual sales activity to ensure all avenues are maximised.
- Tracking and monitoring progress of activity, including conversion rates for leads, appointments, quotes, and sales activity.
- Adhering to and supporting new and existing sales incentives across the company, such as cross-selling, networking, and referrals.
CUSTOMER SERVICES
- Ensuring that customer service levels are implemented and maintained to a high level, achieving results whereby at least 90% of clients are satisfied with the level of service provided.
- Ensuring that there are no more than 1% complaints per month for the department.
- Maintaining telephone response times in accordance with specified parameters.
- Dealing with all complaints within 1 working day in accordance with FCA requirements, or passing unresolved complaints to the compliance manager immediately.
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
- Ensuring that insurance and risk management needs are fully met to the satisfaction of clients and the team.
- Sending out full presentations to market and actively managing them to ensure the best premium and level of cover are obtained for the needs of the client.
- Informing all clients of matters relating to their insurance in a timely manner and in accordance with FCA guidelines, accurately presenting recommendations and options to clients.
- Working in line with established administration processes to ensure all documentation is accurately produced and distributed to clients.
- Accurately documenting all instructions/conversations with clients on manual and IT-based systems, ensuring client files are kept up to date.
- Ensuring that all renewals are actioned within FCA guidelines.
