Monday - Wednesday: 7.00am - 5.00pm
Thursday: 7.00am - 4.30pm

Our client is a successful electronics manufacturer looking for a Trainee SMT Machine Operator to join their friendly production team. Full training will be provided, so previous SMT experience is not essential. What matters most is a positive attitude, good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
What will you be doing?
- Learning how to operate specialist SMT (Surface Mount Technology) machinery
- Loading electronic components into production equipment
- Monitoring machine performance and quality
- Carrying out basic production and assembly tasks
- Completing production paperwork accurately
- Working as part of a supportive team to meet customer deadlines
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
What are we looking for?
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to follow processes and instructions
- Comfortable working in a production environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ideally not colour blind
- Physically fit as there is a lot of standing
