Location: Poole / Hybrid

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + uncapped commission with realistic OTE potentially £70k+ for a strong performer

Benefits: 20 days holiday + bank holidays, pension, parking, laptop, mobile phone

Hours: 35 hours per week. Initial onboarding/probation will involve regular time in the Poole office, with hybrid flexibility thereafter. Due to the nature of the hospitality and events industry, some flexibility around working hours may occasionally be required for networking events, client meetings or international communication; however, this is not expected to be routine. Part-time or flexible working arrangements may also be considered for the right candidate.

Are you a commercially driven relationship-builder with experience within premium hospitality, partnerships, luxury brands, events or experiential sales? We are recruiting on behalf of Maylnder Wine, a premium wine brand operating within the hospitality, luxury events and motorsport space. Maylnder Wine has been curated by Bernd Maylnder, former touring car driver and the official Formula 1 Safety Car Driver since 2000. The brand operates across premium hospitality, race events, luxury partnerships and international commercial opportunities. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing business at an early stage and play a key role in shaping its commercial growth across the UK and internationally.

We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, opening doors, creating partnerships and representing premium brands within high-end hospitality and event environments.

The Role

This is a hands-on commercial growth and business development role focused on generating new revenue, securing venue partnerships and building long-term client relationships. As this is a newly created role, you will have the opportunity to help shape the commercial direction of the business from an early stage. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing new business opportunities across hospitality venues, hotels, bars, restaurants and premium event locations
  • Building commercial partnerships and brand collaborations
  • Developing relationships within motorsport, hospitality and luxury event environments
  • Managing outreach via networking, phone, email and face-to-face meetings
  • Building and managing your own pipeline of opportunities
  • Attending hospitality, networking and selected motorsport events
  • Representing the Maylnder Wine brand within premium customer environments
  • Working closely with the founders on commercial strategy and growth

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced within business development, partnerships, hospitality sales or commercial relationship management
  • Confident building relationships and opening doors
  • Commercially minded and proactive
  • Comfortable operating within a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • A strong communicator and natural networker
  • Passionate about premium brands, hospitality or customer experience
