An opportunity has arisen to join the accounts team at my client in the role of Accounts Assistant. The role will be based at their Head Office in Poole, Dorset. This is a full time position working 40 hours per week from 8.00 am – 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (start and finish times can be flexible ie 8.30 am to 5pm or 9am-5.30pm). This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading companies in their sector with multiple branches across Dorset and Somerset.
In this role, you will be predominantly responsible for:
- The process, control and reconciliation of all purchase ledger invoices both internal and external.
- Preparation of daily banking, cash ledgers and petty cash.
- General accounting duties to assist the Financial Controller in the preparation of monthly and annual accounts.
The ideal candidate will have 2 plus years’ experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar position and possess excellent accuracy and attention to detail. You will be extremely well organised, and able to prioritise your workload effectively.
