Location: Ringwood
Hours: 8am-4pm Mon-Fri but you must be flexible to work hours as needed. 2 days pw in office Tues/Weds or Weds/Thur but can be fulltime office based as well.

Aspire Jobs are working in an exclusive partnership with our client who is well-established within the Elderly Person care home sector. They are looking for an Operations Lead to join their growing central team based in Ringwood, supporting a Care Home group based in the Midlands. They are growing and ambitious and this role is an important one to support that ambition.
With transparency and openness, the board are available to support you remotely whenever needed. You will report to the Operations Director, but with significant support available from other Board members.
The successful candidate must be proactive, able to multitask and be willing to get stuck in and make things happen. They are looking for the right person, rather than experience, and the successful candidate will share the company’s values and understand their high and exacting standards.
This is a multi-skilled role and will involve a variety of job duties. This is not a role for a clock watcher! They need someone super flexible to work the hours needed and attend meetings in the Midlands (sometimes at short notice) so a clean driving licence is essential. This role is all about attitude.

- Ideally have some experience of property, maintenance or facilities buying

Operations Lead Role:
- Procurement; Sourcing, tracking, chasing and reporting on delivery of items purchased
- Dealing with multiple trades accounts for price comparison and consistently achieving best value on all procurement.
- HR & other administration; Implement online cloud-based HR repository
- Check and chase completion of employee paperwork & online training, working with Care Home administrators
- Supporting the finance team ensuring all residents have the appropriate contracts in place
- Property Management; Taking ownership to support the coordination, logistics and reporting of property repairs / upgrades, working with internal Maintenance Leads to achieve timely completion of tasks
- Liaising with sub-contractors for work to be carried out e.g. what needs fixing, when will this happen, length of time it should take and when materials are being delivered
- Being point of contact for these contractors (this could be Ad-Hoc out of hours calls)
- Logistics and timescale management of refurbishment projects
