Location: Poundbury

Salary: c £25k plus 1/4 and annual performance bonus

Hours: 9am‑5pm Monday‑Friday – office based

About the Role:

Aspire Jobs are working with our professional services client, a growing company that is progressive in their thinking and is now looking for an entry‑level candidate to start their career in the legal sector supporting their busy construction team. This is a perfect time to join a growing and progressively thinking team and firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient secretarial and administrative support to fee earners, including liaising with clients, audio typing, document production, file and diary management.
  • Act as the vital point of contact for clients and colleagues.
  • Support contractors, developers, landowners and other professional advisers in establishing appropriate contractual structures and provide strategic advice as disputes arise, including representation in court proceedings, adjudication and mediation.
  • Provide limited support with compliance and billing processes, working alongside another Legal Secretary who leads on these areas.
  • Opportunity to work one day per week at the Bournemouth head office.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Get‑up‑and‑go attitude and confidence managing a varied workload in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • IT‑literate with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and confidence using modern IT systems.
  • Relevant experience not required; willingness to learn and excellent customer‑service skills are essential.
