About the role

We're looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused Learning & Development Coordinator to join our People Services team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This role is 28 hours per week and you'll be at the heart of our learning and development activities, coordinating training, supporting events and ensuring colleagues have a positive learning experience from start to finish.

Working as part of a supportive Learning & Development team, you'll coordinate mandatory training, maintain learning records and compliance reporting, administer our Learning Management System (LMS) and support onboarding and development activities. You'll also contribute to delivering learning initiatives that support our People Strategy and help our colleagues grow and succeed.

Collaborating closely with colleagues across the organisation, you'll provide excellent customer service and support the smooth delivery of learning activities, while ensuring accurate data and reporting. This is a varied role that combines administration, stakeholder engagement, systems management, reporting and continuous improvement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure, organisation and a proactive approach to their work.

What you'll need to succeed

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and genuinely enjoys supporting others. You'll be naturally detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities with confidence and take pride in ensuring information, records and processes are accurate and up to date.

You'll bring experience of coordinating activities, providing excellent customer service and building positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. Experience within Learning & Development, HR, training administration or a similar coordination role would be beneficial, as would experience of using a Learning Management System, although this is not essential.

Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, are essential. You'll be confident working independently, taking ownership of your responsibilities, solving problems and looking for opportunities to improve the way things are done.

Most importantly, you'll be enthusiastic about helping colleagues learn, grow and develop, while ensuring learning and compliance activities are delivered effectively and efficiently.

In return we can offer you

  • Belonging to a team who make a difference to our community and value equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • 23 days holiday + bank holidays + 3 concessionary days at Christmas (pro rata)
  • Comprehensive employee assistance program.
  • Ongoing training and development in your role.
  • A full benefits and discounts platform.
  • Holiday buy, tech and annual saving schemes.
  • Volunteer days.
  • Competitive rates of pay.
  • A generous company pension scheme.
  • Wellbeing and stay safe provisions to look after you at work.

Closing Date: Monday 28th September

Interview Date: Monday 5th October

This role is subject to a basic DBS check.
