You will also manage and account for all materials held within the Garrison estates stores, including furniture, fixtures, equipment and loan items in line with company procedures. Your Role: * You will be operating within an estates store to ensure a smooth and timely supply of parts and equipment to maintenance teams. * You will be acting as a key point of contact, communicating effectively with teams, and resolving queries promptly. * You will be purchasing, replenishing, and managing stock in line with company policies and procedures. * You will be carrying out stock takes and maintaining accurate inventory records and documentation. * You will be ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements including hazardous substances processes. * You will be maintaining a clean, safe and organised store environment and supporting audits and checks as required. What We’re Looking For: Qualifications: You will hold GCSE Maths and English and a full UK driving licence, enabling you to carry out the requirements of the role safely and effectively. Experience: You will have experience within a maintenance or logistics environment, with an understanding of inventory control, stock procedures and administrative processes in a similar setting. Skills: You will demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy, good communication and teamwork, and the ability to prioritise tasks, follow procedures, and work independently using Microsoft Office applications. Experience & Knowledge: Experience gained within a maintenance or logistics environment, including administration and stock control processes. A good understanding of health and safety practices and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is essential. Desirable: A qualification in distribution, storehouse or warehouse operations, IOSH Working Safely certification, and experience within a customer service, stores, logistics or military environment would be advantageous. Knowledge of inventory systems is also beneficial. Skills: Ability to undertake manual handling activities, maintain high levels of accuracy, understand product codes, and work as part of a team while remaining flexible and focused on meeting deadlines. Capability to follow instructions and work independently is essential. Additional Information: The Garrisons are tobacco-free working environments.
