Salary: Up to £24,700 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, no weekends

Location: Tidworth, with 1 day per week at Wiltshire College

Your Role:

  • You will be supporting the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance activities across the Garrison whilst completing a Level 3 Plumbing & Domestic Heating Technician Apprenticeship.
  • You will be working safely at all times in line with health and safety legislation, policies and procedures.
  • You will be assisting with plumbing, mechanical repairs, maintenance and installation work to the required standard under supervision.
  • You will be maintaining accurate records of completed work using company systems and documentation.
  • You will be working collaboratively within a team to deliver an efficient and effective service to customers and stakeholders.
  • You will be attending college as required and completing coursework in line with apprenticeship programme requirements.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: You will have GCSEs at Grade 4/C or equivalent including English and Maths, and a full UK driving licence or be working towards obtaining one when of appropriate age.
  • Experience: You will have basic IT skills and be comfortable using systems, apps or digital tools to support daily tasks and record work.
  • Skills: You will demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills, a customer-focused and positive attitude, the ability to use initiative and solve problems, and a willingness to learn and develop technical skills while maintaining professionalism and organisation.

Additional Information:

  • You must be able to travel one day per week to Wiltshire College.
  • Our garrisons are tobacco-free working environments.
