Your Role
- Conduct B&CE condition surveys in accordance with Strategic Asset Management programme.
- Determine serviceability of building fabric and produce documented reports.
- Conduct RFHI inspections and produce reports.
- Review draft asset condition reports.
- Plan and conduct ESTC inspections.
- Identify building defects and recommend solutions.
- Advise on preservation of historic buildings.
- Prepare insurance reinstatement assessments.
What We’re Looking For
- Technician or Incorporated Engineer membership of either the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) or other equivalent Chartered body.
- HNC/HND or equivalent qualification. Trade background or 3+ years’ experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
Experience & Knowledge
- Experience in B&CE and M&E projects.
- Experience in Project Management or Construction Management roles.
- Knowledge of building regulations.
- Analytical and structured approach to work.
- Working knowledge of CDM regulations.
- Effective communication with stakeholders.
Skills
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
- Proactive and flexible approach under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office.
