Join our Team as a HS&E Coordinator (5 Month FTC) at Aspire Defence Services Limited (ADSL).

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (pro-rata)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, no weekends

Location: Aspire Business Centre, Tidworth

In this role, you will provide comprehensive coordination and administrative support to the Head of Health and Safety and the wider department, ensuring the smooth delivery of daily activities and reporting requirements across the business.

Your Role:

  • You will be coordinating the Health, Safety and Environmental team’s activities, including preparing reports, presentations, and meeting materials.
  • You will be producing and managing key documentation such as leadership reports, correspondence, and procedures in line with company standards.
  • You will be administering and maintaining the incident reporting system, including data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • You will be organising meetings, events, and conferences, ensuring materials, agendas, and facilities are prepared in advance.
  • You will be maintaining compliance records, legislation registers, and audit documentation, ensuring accuracy and readiness.
  • You will be building strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring all work is carried out in line with health, safety, and environmental policies.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: You will have a higher level of education with a minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above including English and Maths, alongside a full valid UK driving licence.
  • Experience: You will have proven experience in coordination within a demanding environment, strong stakeholder management, advanced IT skills including Microsoft packages, and experience maintaining accurate system data and delivering project work.
  • Skills: You will demonstrate excellent communication, organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, influence stakeholders, and work both independently and collaboratively to achieve results.

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Previous experience of coordination in a performance-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management experience.
  • High level knowledge of Microsoft packages and IT systems.
  • Experience maintaining accurate systems data, including financial information.
  • Proven ability to complete project work as part of a wider team.

Desirable:

  • Business Administration NVQ.
  • IOSH Managing Safely.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and planning ability.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships.
  • Attention to detail with strong analytical thinking.
