Your Role:
- Advise users of the Centre on the Centre’s regulations and the correct and safe use of the facilities.
- Maintain strict supervision over swimming pool users, ensure their safety, carry out swimming pool rescues, apply resuscitation and administer first aid as necessary.
- Ensure the security of equipment and premises, log maintenance issues and follow procedures.
- Carry out cleaning duties, ensuring the building is as clean as possible, including cubicles, toilets and drains, and continuously combat litter.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: GCSE English or equivalent. A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and First Aid at Work Qualification would be beneficial. There will be requirements to attend 1 x NPLQ Training Session Per Month to keep the qualification valid.
- Experience: Confident swimmer, excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Skills: Commitment to putting customers first, delivering high‑quality service that meets or exceeds expectations of both internal and external customers, working effectively with others and maintaining constructive relationships within the team, across the business and externally.
- DBS clearance check is required with renewal every three years.
