Your Role:
- You will be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning and mechanical and electrical systems across the Garrison.
- You will be fault finding, repairing plant and equipment, and completing inspections together with any required remedial works.
- You will be recording maintenance activities accurately using company systems and documentation and maintaining high standards of productivity and workmanship.
- You will be building positive customer relationships, delivering excellent customer service and responding to reactive tasks as directed.
- You will be working independently and as part of a team to identify faults, resolve issues and provide an efficient service to clients and stakeholders.
- You will be complying with all quality, health, safety and environmental requirements and reporting hazards, defects, near misses and incidents.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualifications: You will hold City and Guilds qualifications in Heating, Ventilation and Refrigeration, an air conditioning small systems qualification, a valid United Kingdom driving licence and a Fluorinated Gas qualification.
- Experience: You will have proven experience as a maintenance engineer within heating, ventilation and air conditioning and building services environments, be able to manage a varied workload and work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Skills: You will have strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills, understand risk assessments and safe systems of work, and be able to work efficiently with minimal supervision while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
