Hours: 37.5 hours per week, no weekends

Your Role:
- You will provide effective administration and supervisory support for the department and ADSL Manager.
- You will make and answer telephone calls and signpost as appropriate, sending/receiving facsimile and e-mails.
- You will maintain office filing systems, including archiving and securely disposing of sensitive information where appropriate.
- You will maintain and update systems/databases, records and rolls to ensure accuracy, currency and integrity.
- You will produce documentation, i.e. letters and correspondence in line with ADSL standards, JSP 101 Defence Writing Guide and JSP 747 Information Management Protocol.
- You will use Microsoft Office packages and other administration software to complete tasks, including MOD specific software.
What Weβre Looking For:
Qualifications: You will have 3 GCSEs (or equivalent), an NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Office Administration, and intermediate level experience of Microsoft Office packages.
Experience: It is essential to have previous experience in an administration role, as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills are needed, as well as communication skills (both verbal and written). It is also beneficial to have a good level of literacy and IT skills, with the ability to be highly organised, and offer an ethical and professional approach.
