Aspire Consulting Engineers is expanding and is looking for a Structural Engineer with 3-4 years experience who is interested in buildings and historic properties. In the role you will be working closely with a Chartered Engineer on calculations and drawings of new projects. The role will entail: Meeting clients Attending site meetings Completing structural design calculations Structural drawings and details Working with Structural Technicians on reinforcement detailing Working on new builds and historic structures. Key Skills required: * An analytical brain able to understand structural problems * A good understanding of structural principles * Good communication will be essential with drawings, calls, emails and reports being produced for clients * Ambition to improve and become chartered would be ideal Structural Software: TEDDS, Tekla Building Designer, Masterseries, Robot Analysis Knowledge of AutoCAD Good with Word and Excel. You will be placed with an experienced engineer who will be tasked with improving your skills and helping you through the projects from inception to completion.
