Your Role at a Glance
As Area Registered Manager, you’ll be the CQC-registered lead for one or more services in Birmingham. You’ll ensure high standards of care, drive service development, lead high-performing teams, and be a visible and proactive force for quality and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Register with CQC for one or more services
- Embed a person-centred, values-led culture
- Deliver safe, high-quality care across services
- Coach, mentor and develop Service/Cluster Managers
- Lead audits, compliance, and safeguarding processes
- Manage budgets, rotas, and staffing in line with commissioned hours
- Build strong partnerships with families and professionals
- Identify business development opportunities
- Maintain robust documentation, health & safety, and governance
About You
You’re an experienced leader with a clear vision for delivering person-centred support. You’re calm under pressure, confident in your decision-making, and dedicated to improving lives.
You’ll have:
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working toward it)
- Strong background in supported living or complex care services
- Solid understanding of CQC requirements and PBS approaches
- A track record of managing people, risk, and quality effectively
- Excellent communication, leadership, and planning skills
- A flexible, resilient and values-led approach
