The predicted salary is between 28800 - 42000 £ per year.

Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week (rota includes nights, weekends & bank holidays). You must be able to drive automatic vehicles and have the right to work full-time in the UK without sponsorship.

At Aspirations Care, we\’re looking for a Senior Support Worker in Leicester to help shape a positive, person-centred service for adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities.

For genuine occupational reasons, we are looking to appoint a female candidate only (exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9).

What You\’ll Be Doing

  1. Support individuals with daily living, social engagement & independence.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of support workers to deliver outstanding care.
  3. Maintain accurate records and risk assessments (paper and electronic).
  4. Communicate effectively with families, professionals, and the wider team.
  5. Foster a safe, caring, and empowering home environment.
  6. Help shape a responsive, inclusive, and well-led service.
  7. Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and person-centred practice at all times.

What We\’re Looking For

  • At least 3 years\’ experience in social care, including time as a Senior Support Worker.
  • Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 2 (minimum), and willing to work towards Level 3.
  • Solid understanding of supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs.
  • Competent with IT – Word, email, record keeping, and care systems.
  • Strong leadership skills, flexibility, and a positive, proactive mindset.
  • Experience with safeguarding, risk assessment, team supervision, and promoting independence.
