  • A Day in the Life of a Team Leader

No two days are ever the same as a Team Leader.

Your day might start with a handover, checking in on the people we support and ensuring everyone’s needs are being met with care, dignity, and respect.

You’ll lead and inspire a team of support workers, offering guidance, supervision, and encouragement to help them deliver the highest standard of support.

From coordinating rotas and managing day-to-day tasks, to stepping in and providing hands-on support when needed, you’ll be at the heart of everything we do.

Throughout the day, you’ll build meaningful relationships with the people we support - helping them achieve their goals, maintain independence, and live fulfilling lives.

You’ll also liaise with families, professionals, and external agencies, ensuring clear communication and continuity of care.

There’ll be problem-solving, celebrating achievements (big and small), and making sure everything runs smoothly and safely.

By the end of your shift, you’ll know you’ve made a genuine difference - not just to the people we support, but to your team as well.
