As an Apprentice Dental Nurse, you will work closely with dentists, therapists, hygienists and the wider practice team, learning all aspects of dental nursing while completing your apprenticeship qualification.
Your duties will include:
Assisting clinicians during a range of dental treatments
Preparing and maintaining dental surgeries
Ensuring instruments are cleaned, sterilised and ready for use
Maintaining high standards of cross infection control and patient safety
Supporting patient care before, during and after treatment
Managing dental records accurately and confidentially
Helping with appointment bookings and reception duties when required
Learning to use dental practice management software
Maintaining stock levels and clinical supplies
Covering Reception and carrying out admin tasks
