Temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability.

Monday to Friday working hours, 7:30am - 4:00pm (40 hours per week).

Travel paid to and from site.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out mechanical installation works across water and wastewater sites throughout Scotland.
  • Install pumps, screens, rotating equipment, and associated pipework, valves, and ancillary equipment.
  • Work with a range of pumping systems including centrifugal, multistage, and progressive cavity pumps.
  • Assemble and install pipework systems using materials such as PVC, ABS, ductile iron, galvanised, and stainless steel.
  • Follow technical drawings, instructions, risk assessments, and method statements accurately.
  • Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
  • Work collaboratively with site teams across mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter within the water, wastewater, or similar industrial sector.
  • Strong experience in pipework assembly and pump installation.
  • Confident using tools, equipment, and materials across mechanical engineering disciplines.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge of current health & safety legislation.
  • CSCS card required.
  • Confined Space certification essential.
  • DOMS certification advantageous but not essential.
