Nightshift Transport Planner, £22.50 per hour, Contract

Responsibilities:
- Hours: 6:00pm - 2:30/3:00am (including 30-minute lunch break)
- 40 hours per week
- Plan and route vehicles locally and across the UK using traffic management systems (full training provided)
- Manage a fleet of approximately 45 vehicles during daytime operations, coordinating collections and deliveries
- Oversee night trunking operations, managing 5-6 vehicles travelling to locations such as Aberdeen and across England
- Provide ongoing support to drivers, including route planning and resolving issues such as breakdowns or tyre problems
- Ensure efficient and timely transport operations while maintaining high service standards
Requirements:
- Previous transport planning experience (essential)
- Experience within a similar industry (desirable)
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Positive, can-do attitude with a proactive approach
