Responsibilities
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch break)
- Transport clients and the deceased with care, dignity, and professionalism
- Support the Funeral Director on the day of the funeral, ensuring all arrangements are carried out according to the family’s wishes
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of the deceased for viewings
- Maintain funeral home premises and company vehicles to a high standard
- Carry out all duties with sensitivity, respect, and professionalism
- Follow instructions from the Funeral Director accurately and efficiently
- Arrange funerals at both funeral homes and private residences
- Prepare and deliver time-sensitive funeral documentation
- Provide cover for holidays and sickness across multiple locations
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota
Requirements
