£12.71 per hour, Temp to Perm, Rutherglen (with occasional work at Cathcart office)

Responsibilities:

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch break)
  • Transport clients and the deceased with care, dignity, and professionalism
  • Support the Funeral Director on the day of the funeral, ensuring all arrangements are carried out according to the family’s wishes
  • Assist with the preparation and presentation of the deceased for viewings
  • Maintain funeral home premises and company vehicles to a high standard
  • Carry out all duties with sensitivity, respect, and professionalism
  • Follow instructions from the Funeral Director accurately and efficiently
  • Arrange funerals at both funeral homes and private residences
  • Prepare and deliver time-sensitive funeral documentation
  • Provide cover for holidays and sickness across multiple locations
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota

Requirements:

  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Strong computer skills
  • Good level of physical fitness (role involves regular heavy lifting)
  • Flexibility to take part in an on-call rota (1 in 2)
