We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator to join a busy engineering workshop specialising in heavy-duty fabrication work. This is a hands-on, workshop-based role working from engineering drawings to fabricate and assemble high-quality steel components.

Responsibilities
- Monday to Thursday
- 7:00am – 5:30pm
- 40 hours per week
- MIG weld heavy gauge mild steel and Hardox wear plate
- Fabricate and assemble mixer components and structural sections
- Read and work accurately from engineering drawings
- Grind, cut, fit, and finish fabricated steel components
- Carry out quality checks to ensure work meets required standards
Requirements
- Proven MIG welding and fabrication experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working with heavy gauge steel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good understanding of workshop health and safety
